(Michael Rasmussen, Manuele Mori, Florent Brard, Michael Boogerd)

Allow me to draw your attention to Timm Kölln.

I don’t need to say much more than just visit his site and admire some most excellent portraiture.

My Yashica x Hivemind

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

So wandering through my Flickr Statistics this morning, I noticed quite a steady amount of traffic coming from Hivemind.

From the website:

Flickr photo searching of Interestingness, Tags, Users, Groups Courtesy of Fiveprime.org and MalcolmMacdonald.org. Flickr Hive Mind is a data mining tool for the Flickr photography database, allowing search by: metadata tags; Flickr photography groups; Flickr users and their contacts and favorites; text annotation; the Flickr Explore algorithm for interestingness

Apparently my Yashica photos (based on Hivemind) are amongst the World’s Best.

I’m a little dubious about this claim, however it’s a pretty rad idea!

Projeto Gallery

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

This week I had the lovely people from Projecto Gallery contact me and request to license some of my photos for their gallery in Yorkshire, UK. They have a similar business model as Red Bubble, however what got me over the line was the fact that they have a real gallery in Yorkshire and will be exhibiting my work there.

From their website:

Not only are we a website, we are soon to be a brick and mortar store too! From the end of October, we will have a brand spanking new gallery in the village of Silsden which is just a stones through away from the Yorkshire Dales. On top of our fantastic print collection, we will stock jewellery from up and coming designers such as Katherine Cooper and Julie Eden alongside a vast range of beads and findings to help the budding jewellery designer.

I’ll keep you updated with the goings on.

Excellent thread of old cycling photos.

Here’s an excellent thread on www.bikeforums.net of old cycling photos from back in the day. This one is definitely one of my favourites.
